Council Meetings
You can find details of the next PC meeting and past meetings here. You are welcome to attend future North Huish Parish Council meetings, which are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month, except in August.

Play Area and Village Hall Land
At present, the play area and village hall land adjacent to the Tennis Club is held in trust and administered by the Parish Council, who arrange for it to be mowed and maintained.

Recent planning applications

North Huish Parish Council does not make decisions on planning applications, but we do send support or objection to South Hams District Council for most applications concerning the parish that are open for consultation.

The Parish Boundaries
North Huish covers the village of North Huish and most of Avonwick, and stretches south to the edges of Gara Bridge and California Cross.
The Parish Precept
Each year the Parish Council sets a budget for the following twelve months. North Huish Parish Council is mostly funded through the ‘precept’, which is part of the Council Tax collection each year.
