Notices:Playpark swings and climbing frame out of use
The swings and climbing frame in the play park should not be used at present: we're looking into getting them repaired.
North Huish Parish Council commissioned a professional safety check for the play park equipment, which has identified hidden damage inside the wooden posts on the swings and climbing frame; and it looks like a woodpecker has been pecking one of the posts too.
As a result, we have removed the swings and placed notices on the climbing frame stating that it must not be used. We are arranging for the climbing frame to be fenced off, but until that can be done it is important that parents do not allow their children to climb on it.
We regret that the swings and climbing frame will not be put back in use until we can carry out the necessary repairs.
We are sorry for the disappointment that this will cause all those who enjoy the equipment.
